The hotel is the third property of Hilton's Tapestry Collection brand in the Greater China region. Its design is inspired by a romantic legend of "Afu," a local Hainan fisherman, and a mermaid, integrating the fishing village culture and natural scenery of Tufu Bay to create a new vacation experience of a "modern tranquil paradise."
Situated in the scenic Tufu Bay Resort Area of Lingshui, Hainan Province, the hotel enjoys a prime location—approximately 45 minutes by car from Sanya Phoenix International Airport—and is adjacent to popular tourist landmarks, including the Danjia Fishing Rafts (one of the eight scenic spots of ancient Lingshui), Nanwan Monkey Island, Hainan Fenjiezhou Island, Sanya International Duty Free City, and Sanya Haichang Fantasy Ocean Night City.
The hotel features "Serene Fishing Village"-themed guest rooms and suites, all equipped with private balconies offering panoramic views of Fowan or magnificent sea views. Notably, the bathroom design resembles a wooden boat laden with marine treasures: the vanity mirror is supported by a string of pearl chandeliers, with the back of the mirror inlaid with decorative patterns of a mermaid and representative local produce of Lingshui, while the sliding doors are shaped like fish scales and ocean waves. Stepping into the living room, guests will find "Afu's Treasure Chest" (the in-room minibar)—inspired by the chest he opened while rescuing the mermaid at sea—stocked with soft drinks, snacks, and other essentials, creating a whimsical scene of treasure hunting from the legend.
